Clermont, Fla. – Senior CF Jessica Tait (North
Salem, N.Y.) went 2-for-2, including a game-tying, two-run
double in the fourth inning, and scored the game-winning run on a
sacrifice fly by junior 2B Katherine Stoltenberg
(Montgomery, N.J.), while junior RHP Kristen
Anderson (West Haven, Conn.) earned the win in the circle
with three innings of hitless relief with five K's to lead the
Trinity College Bantams to a 7-5 win over the University of
Southern Maine Huskies in National Training Center Games softball
action this afternoon. Trinity evens its seson record at 2-2 with
its second win in a row while the Huskies fall to 0-4. Bantam
junior co-captain 1B Nicole Nardella (Beverly,
Mass.) added an insurance run in the fifth inning with her
second home run in as many days.
