Winter Haven, Fla. - The Trinity College Bantams pounded their
way to a 23-8 victory in the New England Small College Athletic
Conference (NESCAC) East Division baseball opener for both teams
this afternoon at a neutral site in Central Florida. The
teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. to complete
the three-game set.
The Bantams slammed five home runs in the game and jumped on top
quickly with seven runs in the top of the first inning, and senior
captain Conor O'Sullivan-Pierce (Cambridge, Mass.)
earned the win in relief. Trinity, ranked No. 5 in the
nation, is 5-1 overall.
