Williamstown, Mass. - The Trinity College women's squash wasted
no time disposing of the host Williams College Ephs in the New
England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women's Squash
Championship Finals this morning, winning all nine matches by 3-0
scores. The top-ranked Bantams improve to 15-1 and capture
the league crown for the ninth time in the nine-year history of the
tournament. The win was the second 9-0 triumph for Trinity
over the Ephs this season, having blanked Williams, 9-0, at home on
January 6.
Trinity won all three NESCAC Tournament matches by a score of
9-0 and all 27 individual matches by a 3-0 tally. Bantam
first-year Julia LeCoq (Creteil, France) won particularly dominant
today, outscoring her opponent in the No. 3 position by a combined
score of 33-5.
