HARTFORD, Conn – The Trinity College women's ice hockey team battled Manhattanville College to a 2-2 tie on Tuesday night in the Koeppel Community Sports Center. The Bantams are now 1-0-1 while the Valiants are 5-1-1. Trinity resumes action Saturday, Nov. 27 at the University of New England with puck-drop set for 3 p.m.

th minute for her first-career goal. Manhattanville's Gabrielle Cox answered in the second frame, carrying the puck up the ice and netting the unassisted equalizer just a minute and a half after the break.
The Valiants capitalized on the power-play opportunity early in the third period when Laney Nash gave her team a 2-1 lead, assisted by Faithe Harris and Holly Meredith. Less than three minutes later, sophomore
Hannah Feinberg netted her first goal of the season and first as a Bantam on an assist from senior
Ellie Fellows to knot the score up 2-2. The Bantam's continued to pepper the goal with shots in the overtime period and nearly cashed in on the game-winner when sophomore
Jenny Guider's one-timer ricocheted off the top pipe.
Valiant goalkeeper, Franny Gerardi racked up an impressive 55 saves on the evening while Trinity's
Stephanie Garvis tallied 11 of her own. Von Steinbergs and Fellows each registered their first assists of 2021.
