The second period was scoreless, including the two minutes of a Panther power play when the Trinity defense did not allow a shot, and the Bantams broke the game open in the third frame with three goals. Trinity junior forward
Paul Selleck (Laguna Hills, Calif.) scored the first goal 2:33 into the third period and assisted sophomore
Devan Tongue (Hampden, Mass.) on a power-play goal less than two minutes later. Bantam rookie Nick Siffringer (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) added his first career goal to round out the scoring. Goaltender Adam Wisco had 38 saves and Cole Joslin took a team-high five shots for the Panthers.
