HARTFORD, Conn. - Senior forward Ethel Wilhemsson (Stockholm, Sweden) scored the game's only goal with 3:36 left in the third period to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 1-0 win over the visiting Johnson and Wales University Wildcats in women's ice hockey action this evening at Williams Rink in thr Koeppel Community Sports Center. Trinity improves to 6-7 and will host New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) rival Connecticut College, ranked No. 14 in the nation, for a two-game series in Hartford on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m. The Wildcats drop to 2-10-2 and will visit Salem State on Friday at 6 p.m.

Anne Levia (Bancroft, Ontario) and dropped it to Wilhelmsson near the boards, before the senior wristed the game-winning shot past Wildcat sophomore goalie Sophia Tamayo. Tamayo made her 35th save before leaving the ice in the final minute, but the Trinity back line did not allow a shot while the Wildcats finished the game with an extra skater.
