HARTFORD, Conn. - Senior OF
Brandon Chow (Greenwich, Conn.) went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBIs, a walk, a steal, and an inside-the-park home run to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 21-8 win over the visiting Dean College Bulldogs in baseball action this afternoon on Murren Family Field at DiBenedetto Stadium. Trinity improves to 8-4 and Dean drops to 1-13 with its 10th loss in a row. Trinity allowed 16 hits but had 13 of their own and took advantage of three errors and 13 walks by the Bulldogs. The Bantams host Salve Regina next on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Sean Meth (Sands Point, N.Y.) added a three-run triple to highlight the onslaught. Sophomore Joseph Bossinas blasted a three-run homer for to left field for Dean to make it, 14-7, in the middle of the seventh, but Trinity answered with four more runs in the bottom of the seventh and three in the eighth.
Tuozzolo had an RBI double in the eighth for Trinity to finish with four RBIs for the day. Mathews was 3-for-6 at the plate with three runs, a triple, a stolen base and an RBI, while Dillon was 2-for-4 and first-year OF Andrew Park (Flushing, N.Y.) went 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBIs, and a walk. Brian Dovidio was 4-for-5 and Bossinas finished 2-for-4 with four RBIs for the Bulldogs. Sophomore RHP Tyler Coldiz (Lakewood Ranch, Fla.) went 5.1 innings in relief to collect his first college win, while Bantam left starter
Tyler Griffin (Milford, Conn.) struck out seven in 3.2 innings of work. Freshman Hunter Espinosa took the loss for Dean, which used six pitchers.
