MEDFORD, Mass. – The second-ranked Trinity College Women's Squash team cruised past host 13th-ranked Tufts University, 9-0, in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) at the Tufts Squash Courts Saturday afternoon.
 
In the #1 draw, senior Jana Safy captured a 3-0 win (11-4, 11-6, 11-3) over Vharshamithraa Dinesh, while senior Malak Moustafa grabbed a 3-0 win (11-8, 11-6, 11-3) over Maria Arseniev in the #2 spot. At the #3 match, junior Hannah Chukwu rolled to a 3-0 win (12-10, 11-7, 11-2) against Riddhi Joshi, and senior Kara Lincou downed Anika Goyal, 3-0 (11-7, 11-7, 11-5) in the #4 match.
 
Senior Noa Romero rebounded after dropping the first set to defeat Aleezah Burhan, 3-1 (9-11, 11-2, 11-6, 11-4), in the #5 match. Senior Janna El Ashmawy notched a 3-0 win (11-6, 11-5, 11-5) over Nieve Monderer in the #6 slot, while senior Lulu Palacios Benitez nabbed a 3-0 win (12-10, 11-3, 11-5) against Indira Moshi at #7. Junior Fabiola Cabello recorded a 3-0 win ( 11-6, 11-7, 11-4) against Sonya Bajaj in the #8 match, and first-year Varvara Kliueva tallied a 3-0 win (11-5, 11-6, 11-9) over Sora Karanja at #9.
 
The Bantams will be back in action when they host 16^th-ranked Middlebury College Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
