BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Trinity College Volleyball team wrapped up their most successful regular season since 2011 with a five-set loss, 3-2 (20-25, 25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 12-25) to host Bowdoin College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) clash at Morrell Gymnasium Saturday afternoon. The Bantams move to 19-5 on the season with a 5-5 mark in conference play, while the Polar Bears improve to 13-8 overall and 5-5 in NESCAC action.

Ellie Gordon led the Bantams attack with a career-high 19 kills on a .302 hitting percentage with five digs and three blocks. Senior
Eva Lekovic knocked 15 kills, while classmate Eva Boloyan added eight kills, four digs and a service ace. Senior
Grace Sullivan matched a career-high with 26 assists and 14 digs, and junior
Caroline Howell dished out 14 assists with nine digs. Sophomore
Scarlett Jago grabbed a team-high 22 digs with seven assists.

Skye LaMendola paced the Polar Bears offense with a match-high 20 kills and 15 digs. Haley Campau tallied 16 kills with four blocks and two aces, while Alison Smith recorded 13 kills and five digs. Cameron Shelley had 26 assists with eight digs and a match-high four aces, and Anna Yeh snagged a match-high 24 digs.

The Bantams earned the fifth-seed in the NESCAC Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament and will travel to fourth-seeded Wesleyan University for a quarterfinal matchup Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Bowdoin receives the seven-seed in the tournament and will travel to two-seed Middlebury for a quarterfinal match Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
