HARTFORD, Conn. – (November 18, 2024) – Two members of the Trinity College Men's Soccer team have earned spots on the 2024 Academic All-District® Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators. The prestigious award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their exceptional performance both on the field and in the classroom.
Junior Ryan Carey and sophomore Jack Murphy are the Bantams honored this year. To qualify for nomination, student-athletes must be All-Conference caliber players with a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. Additionally, they must have participated in at least 90 percent of their team's matches or started in at least 66 percent of them.
The CSC Academic All-America® program distinguishes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® selections automatically advance to the ballot for the prestigious CSC Academic All-America® honors.
