CLINTON, N.Y. — A goal in the 86th minute lifted the Hamilton Continentals past the Trinity College Bantams, 1–0, in a NESCAC women's soccer matchup Saturday afternoon. The Bantams fall to 6-6-2 (2-6-1 NESCAC), while the Continentals improve to 8-4-3 (5-4-1 NESCAC).

Hamilton controlled much of the first half, outshooting Trinity 10–2 and holding a 4–1 advantage in corner kicks.

Trinity's first chance came just 17 seconds into play when Sophia Simmons sent a shot high. Kyra Charette followed with an attempt that went left of the net.

In the second half, senior Alyssa Keane generated two opportunities — the first sailing just wide, and the second aimed bottom-center but saved by Hamilton goalkeeper Nieve Tonna. Simmons added another effort later in the half, but the Bantams were unable to find the back of the net.

Hamilton finally broke through in the 86th minute when Diana Baffor scored the game-winning goal, securing the 1–0 conference victory for the Continentals.
