However, Page extended Trinity's lead to 4-1 with a last-second goal off a feed from Cam Elenteny to close out the first quarter.

In the second quarter, both teams netted two goals apiece. Ottomanelli secured his second of the game at 12:33 with an unassisted drive, while junior Collin McCarthy followed with his first goal of the season—and fifth of his career—on another solo effort. Trinity led 6-2 at halftime.

Page and Ottomanelli each found the net again in the third quarter, while Scranton managed to respond with two goals of their own, keeping the deficit at four entering the final frame.

Trinity dominated the fourth quarter with a late-game surge, adding six more goals to cement the victory. Sophomore Duncan Rider notched his first goal of the season, followed by scores from sophomore Collin Sullivan, two from senior Jon Krikorian, and junior Andrew Flinn, who recorded his first of the year.

Trinity owned the shot column tilt, 51-47, with an even trade in faceoff victories, 12-12. Bantams fell short in pick-ups, 38-36 in groundballs.
