HARTFORD, Conn. – The 17th-ranked Trinity College men's lacrosse team secured its sixth consecutive win with a 7-4 victory over visiting Bates College in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) showdown on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Bantams improve to 7-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play, while the Bobcats fall to 7-3, 2-3.

Rider added a third goal in the second quarter to extend the lead to 3-0. The Bobcats responded with two goals in the final minutes of the half, cutting the deficit to one at halftime.

The Bantams reasserted control in the third quarter, scoring three unanswered goals. Sullivan and Shin struck early in the period, restoring Trinity's three-goal advantage. Connors capped off the run with a goal at the one-minute mark, sending the game into the final quarter with a 6-2 Bantams lead.

Despite a late push by Bates, with attackman Jack Goldbach scoring twice in the fourth quarter, Trinity sealed the win with a final goal from sophomore Page.
