HARTFORD, Conn. – The Trinity College Men's Lacrosse team edged out the visiting Colby College Mules, 11-8, on Jessee/Miller Field Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Bantams improved to 8-5 overall and 3-5 in NESCAC play, while the Mules dropped to 3-8 and 0-8 in the conference.

Prior to the game, Trinity honored its nine graduating seniors: Hayden Shin, Jordan Opdahl, Zachary Faust, John Cowdrick, Gerard O'Connor, Jon Krikorian, Hugh Curran, Connor Maron, and Davis Burleson.

Sophomore attackman Bo Page wasted no time getting on the board, scoring back-to-back goals in the opening minute of play. With just under four minutes remaining in the first quarter, Miles Harvey added a third goal to give Trinity an early 3-0 lead. Senior goalkeeper Jordan Opdahl made six saves in the opening frame to keep Colby scoreless.

The Mules bounced back in the second quarter, scoring four unanswered goals to briefly take a one-goal lead with six minutes remaining in the half. Trinity responded late in the quarter with a goal by Conley Bohan at 2:21 to even the score at 4-4. Just before halftime, Page tallied his third goal of the day off a feed from Ethan Cobb to put the Bantams back on top, 5-4.

Trinity extended its lead in the third quarter, netting three more goals. After Colby tied the game at 5-5 early in the frame, Jon Krikorian gave Trinity the lead once again off an assist from Page. Page then returned the favor, scoring his fourth of the game off a feed from Krikorian.
