WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Trinity College men's ice hockey team earned a 3–1 NESCAC victory over host Williams College on Saturday evening. The Bantams improve to 10–9–1 overall and 4–9–1 in conference play, while the Ephs move to 7–12–2 overall and 6–10–0 in the league.
- Trinity struck first at the 6:22 mark of the opening period when Weston Turner buried a one-timer between the circles off a feed from below the goal line from Ryan Panico and Spencer Korona.
- Williams pressed for a quick response with back-to-back chances, but senior goaltender Devon Bobak turned the Ephs away. After a successful Bantam penalty kill, Will Diamond doubled the lead, finishing from the bottom of the right faceoff circle just above the goal line to make it 2–0.
- Bobak added two more saves late in the period, and Turner came up with a key block to preserve the advantage heading into the first intermission.
- The Ephs pulled within one in the second when William Yee fired a shot from the right point that Brady Welsch redirected just outside the crease, slipping it past Bobak's right shoulder.
- Bobak was busy throughout the frame, stopping 10 Williams shots, including several during a 5-on-3 disadvantage, to maintain Trinity's edge.
- Williams continued to apply pressure in the third, piling up 13 shots on goal, but Bobak remained steady between the pipes to keep the Bantams in front.
- The Ephs emptied their net with 2:37 remaining in regulation, and a misplayed puck in the neutral zone allowed Brendan Dumas to seal the win with an empty-net tally at 17:23. Williams pulled its goaltender again at 18:53, but Connor Sedlak and Jakop Karpa each blocked shots in the final moments to secure the 3–1 victory.
