Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore goalkeeper Emily Weedon (Wellesley, Mass.) made ten saves to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 2-1 win over the Tufts University Jumbos today at Campus Field.  The Bantams improve to 9-4 overall and 4-4 in the NESCAC with their fifth straight victory, while the Jumbos fall to 7-5 overall and 4-4 in the league.  Trinity clinches their second straight NESCAC Championship Tournament bid.

Later in the second half, junior Caitlin Prendergast (Braintree, Mass.) scored on a header from a pass off the foot of sophomore Caroline Washburne (Medfield, Mass.) to give the Bantams the lead for good.  Tufts sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Jacobs (Mill Valley, Calif.) made four saves in the game for the Jumbos.
