Trinity Men's Lacrosse Too Much For Manhattanville

Purchase, N.Y. - Junior attackman Michael Ritter (Winnetka, Ill.) had two goals and an assist to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 10-2 win over the Manhattanville College Valiants in men's lacrosse action this afternoon at GoValiants.com Field.  Trinity, ranked No. 8 in New England, wins its fifth in a row after a season-opening loss to move to 5-1, while the Valiants drop to 2-4.

The Bantams scored the game's first six goals and held a commanding 6-1 lead heading into the locker room. The Bantams outshot the Valiants, 17-11, in the first half, while both teams killed both man-up opportunities by the Bantams.  Bantam junior attackman Kevin Looby (Kansas City, Mo.) and junior midfielder Max Alderman (Sudbury, Mass.) each scored a pair of goals, while sophomore Peter Johnson (Riverside, Conn.) and freshman Dominic Piselli (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) made a combined seven saves.
