Willimantic, Conn. - Senior co-captain forward Leigh Howard (Bethany, Conn.) scored on a 35-yard free kick in the first half and senior co-captain forward Jenny Ley (Warwick, R.I.) knocked in a one-timer on a cross from freshman midfielder Elisa Dolan (Bethesda, Md.) in the second half as the Trinity College Bantams defeated the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors in women's soccer action this evening. 

Trinity, now 5-5-2, snaps a four-match losing streak and hands Eastern Connecticut its fourth loss in the last five matches.  The Warriors drop to 7-8.  With the Warriors trailing, 2-0, Daniela Marchitto was taken down in the box with five minutes left and converted a penalty kick to pull the Warriors to within a goal.  Trinity senior Lily Pepper (Princeton Junction, N.J.) made four saves in goal.
