Box Score Medford, Mass. - Laura Nee (Duxbury, Mass.) scored two goals in the second half to lift the Trinity College women's soccer team to victory over the Tufts Jumbos on Sunday afternoon's New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) matchup. The victory improves Trinity to 3-1 (2-1 in conference) and pushes the Bantams into third place in conference while Tufts drops to 2-3 (2-2 in conference).
Trinity struck first at the 12:48 mark in the first half as junior midfielder Kendra Lena (Madison, Conn.) found the back of the net for her first goal of the season. The score would remain 1-0 for the majority of the half until the Alex Weiller (Katonah, N.Y.) scored the equalizer for the Jumbos and sent the game into the half in a 1-1 tie.

Nee scored again later in the half after rifling a shot into the upper corner of the goal to put the game out of reach for Tufts.

Trinity will take their two game winning streak into Thursday, Sept. 24, as they host Albertus Magnus at Campus Field in Hartford. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
