Box Score Waterville, Maine - The visiting Trinity College Bantams dropped a 2-0 decision to the Colby College Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's soccer action this afternoon. Trinity, playing in its conference opener, falls to 1-3 overall with its third setback in a row. The Mules improve to 2-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the league. Trinity hosts NESCAC rival Williams, ranked No. 1 in the nation, next Saturday at noon in its next game.
Olivia Greif scored both Colby goals, the first on a penalty kick in the second minute that Trinity junior goalkeeper Taylor O'Connor (Danvers, Mass.) got her hands on but could not stop. Greif's second goal came off a corner kick in the 12th minute from Juliette Nadeau. Trinity finished with an 18-to-5 shooting advantage, but Colby goalkeepers Shannon Gray and Dani Lonati combined for 13 saves. O'Connor dropped to 0-1 despite three saves in the Trinity goal.
