Box Score

Hartford, Conn. – The Trinity College women's soccer team battled through 105 minutes of scoreless soccer at Union College on Saturday, conceding a goal with less than five minutes left in the second overtime for its first loss of the season. Sophomore Hannah Raymond (Niskayuna, N.Y) scored the game's lone goal, giving Union (2-2) its first overtime win of the season in Trinity's first road contest of 2019 (1-1).

The Bantams led every offensive category, including total shots (12-8), shots on goal (7-4), and corner kicks (5-3). Sophomore Duun O'Hara (Woodstock, Conn.) led the team in shots, totaling four with two on target.

After junior Taylor O'Connor (Danvers, Mass.) made two saves through regulation, sophomore relief netminder Jennifer Stuart (Newburyport, Mass.) made one save before allowing the contest's only goal.

Classmate Emma Schleimer (Melville, N.Y.) was credited the assist in the overtime winner; not only was it her first assist of the season, but was also Raymond's first goal of the season.

Trinity is back in action Sunday, September 8, at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
