KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Trinity College Softball split day three of their spring break games falling in the Wednesday opener 6-3 by Catholic University, then closing the day with a 3-2 win over Plymouth State. Bantams 3-3 on the season while Catholic University rises 5-4 and Plymouth State lower 4-5.

In the first inning Kennedy Rogers reached on an error by the Cardinals third baseman to send home Taylor Mikoljzachs, putting the Bantams up 1-0 in the game. Catholic would match the Bantams after the closing of the first inning with a runner stealing home to knot the score 1-1.
In the fourth inning Catholic's Gastright sent home the leading run with a double to center field, Bantams remained at one heading into the fifth inning.
Kennedy Rogers reached on an error by Cardinals center fielder advancing to second and sending home Giana Tito to tie the score 2-2 at the top of the fifth. Catholic would grow their lead by three in the bottom of the fifth with a single from Faxon, a scored run due to a Bantams passed ball, and an RBI from Cardinal's Gastright. Trinity Trails 5-2 heading into the sixth inning.
Senior Tiffany Stowers pinch hit for the bantams, cracking a single to center field to send home Abigail Alper scoring the final Trinity run against Catholic, falling to a final score of 6-3.

Tiffany Stowers recorded her second win of the season throwing within the lanes for the Bantams. The senior pitcher tossed 7 innings with three strikeouts, allowing only 2 runs, 4 hits, and two walks.
Bantams would post the first three runs of the game over the course of three innings beginning with a single from junior Hannah Mullaney sending home first year Mikayla O'Brian in the third inning to put the Bantams up 1-0. In the fourth first year Emily Goddard reached first on an error by the Panthers shortstop, advancing O'Brien to second, Isabella Calagna to third and Abigail Alper home, Trinity up 2-0. The final run would be sent in with a solo shot from Gianna Tito, her first and only career home run.
Trinity Softball closed the game 3-2 over Plymouth State.
