Rogers Walk-Off Defeats Amherst 4-3 as Trinity Split Double Header

HARTFORD, Conn. -  The Trinity College Softball team split the day against the visiting Amherst College Mammoths after securing a 4-3 victory in game one with a walk-off single from Kennedy Rogers to send home Taylor Mikolajczak for the winning run. Bantams fell 8-6 in game two, owning a 13-8 (5-3 NESCAC) record, Mammoths sit 5-12 (2-4 NESCAC) on the season.

Bantams game one victory marked the first time since the 2011 season that Trinity Softball has defeated the Amherst College Mammoths.
