Trinity Downs Williams For Eighth Year In A Row In NESCAC Men's Squash Finals

Clinton, N.Y. - The Trinity College Bantams have faced the Williams College Ephs in all eight New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Men's Squash Championship Finals, and for the eighth year in a row this afternoon, Trinity earned a decisive victory to take home the league crown.  With a 9-0 triumph today at Hamilton College, Trinity completed a 27-0 sweep of its three conference opponents over two days. The top-seeded Bantams shut out Wesleyan and Middlebury yesterday to reach today's match. The top-ranked and defending National Champion Bantams improve to 15-0 entering Tuesday night's home match against No. 2-ranked Harvard. Trinity senior captain Matthew Mackin (Greenwich, Conn.), juniors Miled Zarazua (Mexico City, Mexico) and Moustafa Hamada (Alexandria, Egypt), and sophomore Juan Vargas (Bogota, Colombia) posted 3-0 victories for the Bantams.
