Trinity Women's Basketball Completes Best Season In Nine Years

Hartford, Conn., July 28, 2009 - The Trinity College women's basketball team, coached by Wendy Davis (4th Season), posted its best regular season record since 1999-00 at 17-8 and finished tied with Wesleyan and Colby for fifth in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) at 4-5.  The Bantams advanced to the NESCAC semifinal game for the first time in College history with a 76-71 quarterfinal triumph at Bates before succumbing at Bowdoin, 74-56.  Trinity finished third in the NESCAC in scoring defense with 55.8 points allowed per game.
