Medford, Mass. - The Trinity College Bantams led wire-to-wire en
route to a 67-62 victory over the Tufts University Jumbos in New
England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) men's basketball
action this evening at Cousens Gymnasium. Tufts falls to 5-16
overall and 1-6 in the NESCAC, and Trinity is now 3-3 in the
conference and 10-10 overall.
Trinity built a 10-point halftime lead on the shoulders of
junior Ian Fels (Miami, Fla.), who scored 11
first-half points. Senior Dave Beyel (Ocean City,

Jon Pierce (Belmont, Mass.) scored 17. Trinity
finished with four players in double-digits as both Fels and junior
Luke MacDougall (Baldwinsville,

double-double for the Bantams with 10 points and 15 boards.
Tufts shot 42.6 percent (23/54) overall and Trinity finished at
