Manchester, N.H. – Freshman Robert Kang (Glen
Rock, N.J.) recorded a shutout in goals with 35 saves to
lead the St. Anselm College Hawks to a 2-0 win over the visiting
Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic
Conference (NESCAC)/Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) East
men's ice hockey action this evening. Trinity drops to
5-8-3 overall and 3-7-1 in the NESCAC with its second loss in a
row, while the Hawks improve to 7-6-1 overall and 5-6-1 in the ECAC
East with their first win in five games. Trinity senior
goalie Wesley Vesprini (Lexington, Mass.) made 40
saves, while Jim Toomey (Billerica, Mass.)
and Eric Czapka (Holland, Pa.) scored the Hawk
goals.
