Trinity junior back Sheena Landy (Durham, Conn.) scored the game-winner with the first marker of her career on a direct kick from 40 yards away on the left side that sailed over the head of Hamilton sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Cooley (Branchburg, N.J.) and bounced into the goal through traffic without being touched in the 37th minute. Bantam junior midfielder Laura Nee (Duxbury, Mass.) scored the game's other goal from first-year forward Taylor Kirchgessner (Bethesda, Md.) 44 seconds into the second half. Hamilton had a goal by sophomore forward Amanda Becker (Chappaqua, N.Y.) early in the second stanza nullified on an offsides call, and a free kick by senior midfielder Becca Rees (Framingham, Mass.) in the 83rd minute from just outside the box caromed hard off the cross bar.
